Did you ever write "HAGS" in the back of your friends' yearbooks?

I never did.

And not because I wanted them to have lousy summers or whatever, only because I didn't even know that was a common thing to write until a few months ago. Since learning about it though, I've really taken a hold to it. I use it all the time!

Oh PS, if you're ignorant like I was.. it means "have a great summer."

So that's the plan! You know, to have a great summer. and to put HAGS everywhere to the point that Meg goes crazy. I know it's still April, but I'm out of school so to me it's summer! Go ahead, ask me. What time is it? Summertime.

My first week of summer consisted of moving and unpacking. It took me way longer to unpack than it took me to pack. But I can't say enough how much I love this house! It's the perfect size and every inch of it is adorable. every inch.

We went to our new ward on Sunday. We're definitely the youngest, but everyone was really nice anyway. It seems like it'll be a lot of fun. We had a ward bbq (bee-bee-kyoo.) on Monday, so we made a fruit pizza! It was a hit, obvi. Cat got raw egg on her during the egg toss, and I made the Twist-Up explode. But we met a lot of people, and it was good times.

We've been watching a lot of movies. I've missed some, but I have been around for
He's Just Not That Into You
Time Traveler's Wife
part of The Notebook
some of Seven Pounds
Baby Mama from outside..

We've also been preeeetty domestic.

casseroles. the definition of domesticity, I'd say.

This picture is tiny, but it gets the point across. Our living room is well on its way to be the cutest one in town.

But honestly, we have spent a lot of time decorating, organizing, cooking, cleaning.. Our kitchen is always clean, and I'm proud of us.

We also inherited a crapshoot of a couch this week. It stays outside, though. on the sidewalk. across the street. We go out there some nights and Meg reads us stories. Bedtime Stories With Meg is becoming a favorite around here.

Bedtime Stories on the couch.

snacks on the couch. It was temporarily moved to our front lawn. poor decision, we moved it back to the sidewalk.

I went hiking! Well, kinda. okay, barely. Justin and I had a picnic the other day and walked up to the waterfall afterward. We didn't climb too much, but we have plans to go back. This is my new favorite place. I loved it.

Justin swears the guy who offered to take our picture thought we were married. No, sir. We're babies.

So as we can all see, I'm HingAGS so far.
