Pioneer Day blog vomit.

July 24, 2012

Being Guac Girl comes with a price. or maybe it's a prize..
I've eaten chips, guacamole, and salsa for three of my last six major meals.

Yesterday I woke up to this text from a friend.
"Here's a quote I read recently: a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor.
2 Nephi 10:20-25 :) you are amazing :)"
There's a chance this was a mass text, but I don't mind at all. Even if it was, I still made the list!
I haven't seen or spoken to this friend since winter semester ended. But she's the sweetest, and her surprise text was the perfect way to start my day. Really, yesterday was great. and I'm crediting it to her.

Other than my life being really good lately, it's terrible because I don't have instagram. Regardless, I still like to remember things. just in a less hip way.

I think the duck pond was made for Sunday mornings before church.
Actually it was made for every day all the time.
action shot of Phoebs and me.
I found this a few weeks ago, but I still like it.
Coming home from St. George.
Shaved ice with Mawlee.
Scootin'.
Lastly, I'd like to thank the pioneers for settling in Utah so that years later the Church could build the City Creek Center where I would shop in celebration of the 24th of July, honoring the pioneers.
