Sixteen hours later.

August 26, 2012

Sundays just became the longest day of the week. Our ward moved it's starting time to... 8:30am.

That means I woke up at 6:30am. Here it is, 10:00pm and I have done so much today!

three hours of church
three hours of nap
baked three dozen cookies
wrote three missionaries letters
delivered cookies to:
- Computer John who fixed our wifi
- New neighbors, 4/5 weren't even home..
- Steven who always subs for me at work
ward prayer

I don't remember the last time I was so productive on a Sunday. It felt wonderful. Keeping the Sabbath Day holy isn't hard. I'm glad I kept myself busy today with service and involvement. I met tons of new people today, and I'm really excited for a new and final semester in this ward.

Let me mention that I gave a talk in Sacrament Meeting this morning centered around this. read it.
Also, it's a school night for the first time in four months.
So here's to 8:30 church, a productive Sabbath, and the beginning of a new semester at the bayou.
