A few days ago Stefan and I went out for dinner at the food trucks and on our way home we walked down all these amazing streets we had somehow been missing for weeks! We found a couple really great squares with lots going on and lots of places to sit and watch everything. Pioneer Square is covered in flowers right now and surrounded by good shopping.

This much smaller square made a good spot to eat dinner and watch some soccer. There was also another square with tons of fountains and kids running through getting soaked. Downtown Portland isn't the biggest or loudest downtown we've ever seen, but it is dang fun.

Ahh, it is what it is. And what it is is one of the few things I can make from scratch pretty quickly. Sometimes when I make guacamole it's because I'm craving guacamole, but sometimes it's because I'm just craving something fresh. And every time I make it I make too much.

I saw this license plate just hours after hearing Confessions, Part 2 on the radio! What an awful song.

My mom and I used to make these mini fruit pizzas all the time! Our branch had a potluck for FHE last night so, naturally. They weren't as big of a hit as I've seen them be other places, but I'll never be upset about bringing the extras home.

Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?

Both of these were seen on another walk with my little baby friend. I swear half of the front yards we pass look like this one!

Stefan and I bought this magnet the other day, for a few reasons. 1: We love donuts. 1.5: I prefer donuts over doughnuts. 2. Oregon loves donuts! Aside from the dozens of donut shops I see all over Portland.. When we were driving to southern Oregon to go bear hunting camping I saw one of those food signs along the side of the road advertising what options can be found at the next exit - you know, usually it's a Wendy's, McDonald's, KFC.. this one literally showed two fast food restaurants and a donut shop. 3. LOOK how happy that shark is!

In other news, last Saturday we got massages (no pictures taken..) that we had been saving ever since we didn't have a chance to get them on our Salt Lake honeymoon like we had originally planned. After we were done we headed downstairs and the masseuses met us for a follow-up/to say goodbye. My masseuse straight up told me that in all her years of massaging she has never seen shoulders worse than mine. "It felt like I was massaging rocks." Sooo, I guess we'll need to go back!

I'm very concerned that the shark isn't able to get the donut up to her shark mouth.
