happy thanksgiving, arizona

December 01, 2014

Our Thanksgiving this year was so fun! We drove down to Phoenix to visit Stefan's brother Nathan and his cute wife Ali. Most of Ali's family lives in that area too, and they basically adopted us for the week. They are all so fun and kind and welcoming. Seriously it takes about fifteen seconds to feel totally comfortable around this family. We had a blast helping plan one's sister's surprise birthday party, I crashed Ali's cute baby shower, we all went shopping and played games, plus we ate our weight in the world's yummiest Thanksgiving dinner. I never want another Thanksgiving dinner without homemade macaroni and cheese on my plate. Why didn't I think of that earlier in my life? Also look at the cute goblets and table decorations!

Naturally, we were already out of Provo when we realized we hadn't packed the camera. So three iPhone pictures it is! This next one was taken on our date night with some of Stefan's friends. They all met at LDS Business College before Stefan's mission and made lots of really quality videos together. At least that's how I understand they spent all their time. Well now these two friends are married and have the most precious little baby girl I've ever seen! We ate Thai food and played mini golf until it was past all of our bedtimes.

I should mention that Stefan drove the whole way, there and back. I'm the kind of girl who offers to drive and then can't stay awake at all. Or if I am awake I'm finally finishing Allegiant and CRYING MY EYES OUT. Ugh, now I'm thinking about that again, and I won't be able to focus on anything else. #teamfour <<< is that a thing?

I'm usually not a waterworks! I don't know why, but the ending on that one really got me. Let me know when you finish it!
