ONE YEAR

February 13, 2015

February 13th is the best day. Stefan and I have been getting so excited for it this year! We decided yesterday it's almost as exciting as having a birthday. And also that it kind of is a birthday, our family's birthday! hahaha. Stefan and I have been married for a year! It really doesn't surprise me that it's been that long until I say it out loud. I'm just so used to saying we've bee married for ___ months. But now it's a year. Oooh. And it has been the absolute best year. I can't begin to list all the incredible, fun things we've been able to do together since last February 13th. I also shouldn't have even tried to choose pictures from the wedding to include in this post because I wanted to add so many! Which is funny because we really didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped for due to the rain.. But the ones we have I just love! Mostly I love remembering that day.

The best part about being married to Stefan is that he is literally the best friend I've ever had. We have so much fun together and even after knowing each other as long as we have, I can still feel us growing closer all the time. In more serious ways and in ways like, the other day I was doing the weirdest little dance while I was talking with him and he was completely not phased by it at all and I just thought, "Yep. So this is how it is now."

I know I've said this before, but I am so so happy Stefan and I were married when we were. We were both pretty young (still are, I think?), but I have never been happier in my life and I wouldn't have done any of it a different way. I have grown so much in the last year, sometimes I'm embarrassed to remember how I used to be. I have also accomplished more than I ever would have without Stefan by my side. He supports me perfectly, pushing me just enough when I need it and always trying to understand how I feel and what I need. I don't think I have missed out on anything by being married young. In fact I know I've been blessed a million different ways since Stefan and I decided to get married a year ago. And unfortunately that husband of mine doesn't write a blog where I am sure he'd tell you he feels the same way, but I really think he does.

^^^ Gotta keep it real, you know? I love that our photographer edited this one and sent it to us. hahaha

I seriously thank my lucky stars every day for my funny, light-hearted, caring, sweet, really cute, curious, hard working husband, and I can't wait to spend this whole love-y long weekend with him!

I do feel the same way. Just fyi. Although, I don't know how I feel about that one picture. What the heck is even happening?!

haha, blinking I guess? Also, glad you feel the same way. Glad you commented on this to tell me. Glad you're the only one who commented on this. Love you the most.

These are so pretty! I really love your hair! We also celebrate our anniversary like a birthday :-)

Thank you! I really liked having short hair. I've been growing it out for a year now, and there were some really awful in-between growing stages.. but I don't regret trying a pixie, it was so fun! And I'm happy to know the anniversary/birthday celebration is normal. It makes the day so much fun!
