One great thing about having a blog is getting to write as much as I want about how I love Stefan, and knowing that no one can stop me! I get that PDA can be annoying, but over here in my own little corner of the internet, if you don't want to read it, don't read it! Did everyone just stop reading this?

The thing is, our wedding anniversary is the day before Valentine's Day. So if nothing else, I get one post a year where I can mix the two together and rave about Stefan. I know I do it more than once a year, but like I said - no one can stop me.

Our weekend of looove was pretty tame this year, but I think we both really enjoyed it. We kicked things off on Friday with massages. Because I've known about Groupon for a long time, and I always forget to check there for deals.. but not this time! These massages were over half off regular price! My massage therapist treated me like a queen because #baby. Seriously, you guys. Everyone is so excited about this baby! Massage therapist, girl working at Baskin Robbins, sixteen year old grocery store cashier, old man working at the thrift store. It really is the sweetest thing. We have a theory about it. Where we were living before (Utah..) a lot of people are pregnant. A lot of young people are pregnant. It's way less common out here. Honestly, it's more of a novelty. Especially for such a young couple. Even being married at our age(s) is kind of a novelty here.

Anyway, massages, check. On Saturday - our TWO YEAR anniversary - we slept in, Stefan made a yummy breakfast, and he opened his gift. I bought him a new board game I thought he would really like, and we ended up playing a round in our pajamas right on the living room floor after breakfast. Then we decided we needed more games that work well for two players, so we headed to a nearby game store. They were having some sort of big tournament, but all the employees - and even some tournament participants - were really friendly and helpful. We ended up with two more games, and I got a sweet free Galentine's tiara - which I obviously sported at our next stop, milkshakes.

^^^ It was a legit game store.. but we didn't buy anything too.. you know... game-y. And also, milkshakes! Oh, and some mozzarella sticks.. Okay and a burger and fries. But we went for the milkshakes!

The rest of the weekend was spent at church meetings and with family - not exactly romantic, but we aren't complaining. Plus by now we've played all of our new games! Two of them we've already played multiple times. So I guess what I'm saying is, they all work for two players.. but they also work for more than two players. Game night, anyone!?

Oh, and Stefan set up the tripod so we could take these really cute anniversary pictures! It was a perfect, low key, kinda nerdy anniversary.

You guys, I love Stefan. I love him and I like him and I am totally in love with him. I love the person he is helping me become. I love how supportive, encouraging, helpful, curious, and interested in everything he is. I love how funny I think he is. I think he is so dang funny, and he knows it, and we both eat it up big time. I love the things we have in common - our faith, how much we both love the color blue, where we want to go in life - and I love the things that make us different - the books we read, our individual talents, our opinions on whether Stefan's beard should stay forever... I love how much we've accomplished together over the past two years, and I love knowing we still have a long way to go. Together.

(I keep forgetting to log into your blog so I can comment instead of just reading the email.) I think you two are amazing! I love your posts, how much you love each other, and how excited you are for little Peter to join the party! I'm glad you both like the new games, it sounds like your weekend was a great start to Year 3!

@Bekah I bought Stefan The Logo Game because anything advertising/marketing related is riiight up his alley. Then we bought Quixx and Forbidden Island! They're all really different, and all so fun. Maybe I'll do a little post about them! (Especially since I've been having lots of trouble replying to comments, so I'm not sure if you'll even see this..)
