Stefan and I snagged some pictures with a few of our favorite little guys last week! Something about sweet little boys right now, let me tell you. I love them. Every single one. In the whole world. But especially these two. Playing with my nephews while we were home last weekend was the best - the last time we saw my brother and his family was Christmas 2014, so we were way overdue for some quality time! That Christmas, my now two and half year old nephew was still pretty shy around us, and definitely not talking as much as he does now. And the little tough guy wasn't even around yet!

Some of our favorites from the two and a half year old:
- His favorite restaurant is "Fetch-A-Lay" (Chick-Fil-A)
- One of his favorite toys all week was a big stuffed "falayngo" (flamingo)
- He kept walking into the room and telling us, "I'm just right here!" as if we had all been looking for him for hours.
- He called Stefan "sir" all weekend!? "I'm just right here, sir!" "Can you open the (pretend castle) door for me, sir?"

Some of our favorites from the baby:
- Um, he is the sweetest, most chill baby in the world! He let us hold him and snuggle him as much as we wanted. Really crossing my fingers his cousin is the same way.

Okay that was all about nephews and nothing about Stefan and me. I can't help it! I love them! But I do have some other things to report:

One day before our trip home, I was feeling really lame. I didn't get everything done I wanted to because I didn't have the energy or things just didn't work out. I was feeling pretty crummy by the end of the day, when - without even knowing how I felt - Stefan started praising me for everything I had done! He seriously listed off everything I accomplished, told me I deserved a prize, and took me to get some gelato. Isn't it crazy how differently others see us sometimes? Especially how the people who love us, see us? It had a huge impact on me that day.

The next two are funny ones, because apparently we think we're really funny. Lately I've been getting excited/upset about the Gilmore Girls revival coming to Netflix soon. I'm so excited for it - especially when they announce certain characters who are signed on to be part of it (JESS) - but I get upset when they announce other certain awful characters who are coming back too (DEAN). Stefan knows next to nothing about the show, but he likes to pretend he does and mimmic my emotions times ten... million. He talks about Dean - but calls him "Dane" - as if he is the literal scum of the earth, and then he pretended to get all emotional for five straight minutes when I told him Jess was coming back. He's nothing if not a supportive husband!

This is maaaybe the best one. Stefan is notorious for not knowing the words to songs. Any song, ever. Name a song you think he probably knows the words to because everyone knows the words to it.. He doesn't know the words, I promise. He is always singing gibberish or making up his own - super clever - lyrics. So the other day we're in the car and Glamorous by Fergie comes on.. Can you already guess where this is going!? Naturally, of allll the songs, Stefan knows the lyrics to a Fergie song. Heaven help me.

*He would probably be upset if I didn't mention he also knows every single world to Ignition (Remix) by R. Kelly. That was his argument when I called him out on the Fergie song. "Okay, but I also know all the words to Ignition!"

Other funny things Stefan has said recently: (Why were all these stories about him? I'm sure I do nice and/or funny things too.. Who's keeping that list?)

After quoting Wombosi's "It's not him" line from The Bourne Identity two dozen times and laughing about it non-stop... "Ahhh, I kill me.."

And I saved the best for last! "You have seriously been the easiest pregnant wife. I feel bad for everyone else's husband."

That last line reminded me of something one of my girlfriends said at her bridal shower a bazillion years ago, "I feel sorry for the rest of you because I got the best one!" I'm glad you (and Stefan) got the best one, too. :)

It was fun to see you last weekend. You are seriously the cutest little pregnant lady.

@missy I love that! One of my best friends got married last fall, and as we were leaving the sealing room I told her new husband, "You got the best one!" He responded with a big smile and an, "I know!" Marriage is the best.
