Shout out to my Minnie Mouse hat for making it into two posts in a row! Because we moved right before Halloween and also because we didn't really have any big Halloween plans, I didn't have it in me to go all out with costumes this year. That being said, I'm so happy with how ours turned out! We bought Peter his Mickey sweatshirt a couple weeks before at Disney World, so that's where the idea was born. I (of course) already had my hat, and bought my sweatshirt at Walmart for $9 I think. Obviously Stefan is the real Halloween hero - he was going to shave his beard anyway, so all we had to do was leave the mustache and spray him with some black hair coloring. He was wearing a Disney pin too, but it didn't make it in the picture because Peter kept trying to rip it off. Oh, and we used little face crayons left over from the World Series! Molly had brought them over for one of the games, and I only ended up drawing some Cubs colored stripes on Bruce's cheeks and two blue elephants (Go Cubs?) on Hazel, so we had plenty of the black crayon left to make mouse noses.
